“Gratitude Project” of 2016
Part of my journey into radical GRATITUDE came as a result of my self-imposed “Gratitude Project” of 2016.
Every day for all 366 days of that year, I posted one unique thing that I was GRATEFUL for on my personal Facebook page.
My only rules were that I couldn’t repeat something that I’d already used, and I tried to make each entry something that wasn’t necessarily of material value. I wanted every person who read my entries to possibly relate to each one, no matter what their finances or situations were.
It was an incredible labor of love and a journey into self-compassion and self-awareness. To say that it made a PROFOUND difference in my life would be a gross understatement. I even had a piece published in “The Mighty” about the project that you can read here: “When I Vowed to Fight Chronic Pain By Writing My Gratitude Every Day on Facebook.”
This website, Gratitude Addict, came as the result of the popularity of my project as it had people hungry for more GRATITUDE once December 31, 2016, rolled around and the project was over.
Here are some of my entries from FIVE years ago. Enjoy!
